Artist Statement

“Elusive Destinations”

Being a Printmaker and Painter contains my interest in craftsmanship and design, influenced by elements of architecture, nature, organic shapes and pattern combined with fantasy and oddness.
To create an art piece I don’t limit myself to one technique or one typical style.
For the last several years my focus is printing with Lithography stones. Even most of my prints are done within that medium. I always enjoy working with etching and drypoint as well. To see spectators look twice, observing color and different details than at the first glimpse; also turning pieces upside-down to find a different perspective (not shown), makes me smile and encourages me to develop my ideas into new images, and printing new work.

Medium: Stone Lithography
