I am a pastelist who enjoys interpreting the abundance of the world around me. The beauty of nature, the lines on people’s faces, and the people, places and creatures that in habit our common home are what inspires me to paint. I began painting in pastel in 2003 because I loved the way the vibrant colors lay on the paper. As an artist, I work to create paintings that speak to me, and others, about the beauty of the world and its people. I travel to rich cultures in beautiful environments, giving me inspiration to recreate the mood I felt in those places. I have shown my work at Splendaporium, Art Reach Gallery, Menucha’s Creative Arts camp, and through open studio exhibits.
