Artist Statement

I have been drawing ever since I can remember. As an adult I discovered transparent watercolor! My new inspirations now come from my great grandchildren as well as grandchildren and my own children. I am drawn to young faces right now and call it my youthful phase. My work is represented in private residences and professional offices. It is still exciting to start a painting and it is still hard work to keep it going until finished. I feel as long as the subject is interesting to me I can paint it!

Medium: Watercolor
