Artist Statement

My name is Vldn Taylor (Pronounced Veldon or well done but with a V.)
About my photography: I took my first photography class when I was in high school. I finally bought my first DSLR camera in 2011 for a trip to Alaska and I have been obsessed with photography ever since. In 2012 I joined the Oregon City Camera Club. This year I joined the Three Rivers Artist Guild. My art work has displayed at the Singer Hill Gallery, Bowerman Law Group and Portland Justice Center. I’ve donated prints to Community Foundation of NCW and TRAG for fund raising. My calendars sold at Castparts FCU and my website. $1 from each sale went to Clackamas C. Women’s Shelter. I love sharing the beauty this world has to offer, from great majestic sceneries to the small insects on flowers. My goal is to take photographs that inspires and evoke emotion.
