Clackamas County Cultural Coalition Grant Review Panel – 2013

Orientation & Review

The Clackamas County Arts Alliance staff is happy to provide two FREE orientations for the Clackamas County Cultural Coalition Grant Program.  These orientations are designed to give applicants specific and detailed information about how to apply for a Cultural Coalition Community Participation Grant.  If you have applied for a Project Grant in the past, we highly recommend you attend an orientation this year. We are unveiling our new Cultural Plan with updated funding priorities and other details that will impact the application process for 2018. However, those who are not considering applying for a 2018 grant but are considering applying in future years may also find these workshops useful.  Please reference the timeline and note dates of workshops, deadlines grant review and award notifications.  If you have questions about these events, please contact grant administrator at 503-655-0525.

Timeline:

  • October 1, 2017 – Project Grant Applications Available
  • October 3, 2017 – Orientation #1 (see below for more info, & register to attend)
  • October 10, 2017 – Orientation #2 (see below for more info. & register to attend)
  • November 6, 2017– Deadline to apply (Midnight)
  • January 9, 2018 – Grant Review (see below for more information)
  • January 18, 2018 – Coalition reviews funding recommendations
  • Late January 2018 – Award notifications sent

Orientation #1 –

Individuals and representatives of organizations who are considering applying for a Clackamas County Cultural Coalition Grant should consider attending this free orientation. An overview of the various elements in the grant application will be reviewed including the importance of demonstrating community support, partnerships, in-kind contributions and the types of financial documents you will need to prepare to submit your application.  Up to 2 representatives can attend on behalf of an organization. Location and map below.

Grant Review
Clackamas County Development Services Building Room 115 (Auditorium)

Applicants are invited to the open session portion of the review process.  The doors will open at 9 am and the open session review generally closes around 11am. Please consider the following:

  • One person per application is invited to attend for observation purposes only.
  • First-time grant seekers may find the opportunity especially valuable.
  • You will not have opportunity to speak in support of your grant application.
  • Grants will be reviewed in alphabetical order.  If you wish to attend, we suggest you arrive at 9 am and observe the process until your application is reviewed.
  • You are free to leave once your application is reviewed if you choose to do so.
  • If you are unable to attend the review you are welcome to send a representative. Again, please no more than one person per application.
  • If your application moves to the Review Panel level, you will receive an email inviting you to RSVP to attend the review.
