Clackamas County Arts Alliance’s Youth Arts for Change Program (YAC) provides mentor-based art workshops for underserved and vulnerable youth in Clackamas County. Using art as a catalyst, YAC opens doors to a brighter future and exposes youth to the power of creative expression while helping them forge positive connections with their community.

YAC’s current workshops include Theatre, Drawing and other forms of visual art. Each are based upon youth using creative skills to tell their own stories, giving voice to their experiences, hopes, and challenges. All workshops are 6-10 weeks long and culminate in a final performance or exhibit, providing participating youth an opportunity to share their work with the community.

YAC is currently holding two calls for Teaching Artists
