“Some call me sentimental, but because I’ve lived the PNW all of my life, buildings that have survived almost 100 years make me feel grounded. Especially, the infamous “Steiner Cabins”. I met the grandson of Henry Steiner, who has tied the renovations to the Mt. Hood Cultural Center and Museum, as a celebration and fundraiser. The Museum holds a walk/drive tour each year with limited attendance and that’s how I came to love them.”
