Artist Statement

I gained a new perspective on joy and resiliency by working with abused children. My goal in my artwork is to try and reflect those feelings. I use acrylic paints to obtain bright bold colors and skew things so that the perspective is off or pick a subject matter which is fun. I am most pleased when I see people smile at my work.
