Artist Statement

Bold color, unique design, practical use, and a sense of whimsy are the influences that guide my art. Wastefulness and a time-obsessed society are the influences that guide my purpose: To create dramatic timepieces from re-purposed and discarded materials; thus, saving the world in a “timely” fashion!

Household items, CDs, metal, wood, wire, beads, computer components – all wend their way into these kinetic objects. And all offer the suggestion that one might consider slowing down just a bit, to enjoy a moment of humor or beauty, and to show a bit of care before tossing things into the landfill.
