Each year in April, Clackamas County Public Health Division recognizes the contributions of the field public health during National Public Health Week. During this celebration, Clackamas County Public Health aims to highlight local health achievements, and also improve the general wellness of the communities within our great county.
This year, to recognize and promote health, wellness, and active living, Clackamas County employees were asked to submit photos of how they live balanced, safe, and nourishing lives. Over 90 photographs were submitted by 38 individuals representing 20 divisions, and awards were given to eight employees. Photos were judged based on seven categories: physical activity, serenity, family/friends/relationships, safety/preparedness, nourishment, adventure, and mental fitness/wellness! One photo was selected as Most Artistic.
Category winners had their photos transferred to canvas print, and are placed on display from April – July 2016.
