Exhibit Information

Sandy Library is hosting 19 artists who created images inspired by the book “Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher” by Timothy Egan.  The paintings are touring different libraries throughout the state as part of the 10th annual Lake Oswego Reads program.

It’s the true story of Edward Curtis, an uneducated man from Seattle with a burning talent for photography and the drive that became his life’s mission, photographing the tribes of the American Indians before their lives were irrevocably changed by modern man.
