I have sketched and painted my entire life. As a young adult, I won awards while studying at the Montreal Museum of Art. I then chose a career as a psychologist, raised 3 children, and my art was put “on hold”. Most of my paintings are 11″ by 14″. Some are 8″ by 10″, some 16″ by 20″.
My medium is mostly ink and watercolor, though sometimes I will use both watercolor and acrylic — sometimes ink alone.
I endeavor to present an illusion of reality combined with incompleteness, so that the viewer can make the image their own.
