I have been a lifelong artist in many mediums, though after taking a pastel class in 15 years ago, I fell in love with the intensity of color that pure pigment pastels provide. Since then I have developed my skills through practice and workshops. In my travels throughout the world over the last 20 years I have taken in the environments and cultures that have enriched my life in uncountable ways. I enjoy interpreting the abundance of the world around me, the beauty of nature, the expression on faces, and the people, places and creatures that inhabit our common home.
I have shown my work at Artreach Gallery, Clackamas Art Alliance, Splendorporium, Creative Arts Community exhibits, and through open studios. I have been a member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast since 2015.
