Artist Statement

My latest paintings express my willingness to explore new possibilities with a determination to successfully incorporate these with my usual acrylic paintings.

This last year I learned to create my own collage papers. I use these to complement my paintings, sometimes going back to an older painting and enhancing it with my new collage papers. You can see this in my box of strawberries. My chickens are all collage papers with just an eye added with acrylic paint.  It is a challenge to find just the perfect papers to create a finished painting. I love the process.
