Artist Statement

CARV is an initiative driven by residents and staff at Rose Villa with the goal to build and strengthen community through creative practices. This means that we strive to increase access and meaningful engagement with visual, performative, musical, and literary arts at our nonprofit, senior living community. CARV supports the creative interests of our seniors while simultaneously generating unique opportunities for our staff to collaborate with residents and co-participate in intergenerational arts activities, performances and exhibitions. Community is at the heart of everything we do at Rose Villa, and creative expression is a cornerstone of our culture.
