Artist Statement

Painting nourishes my soul and challenges me to interpret and create lasting beauty. I have a deep regard for the natural world. My work is often inspired by the spirit of nature and elements of earth and sky. My artistic purpose is to evoke or capture magical moments, thoughts and places through my interpretation of texture, form and color. I hope to conjure contemplation and organic emotions of wonder, awe and joy for my viewers.

I predominantly work with watercolors and acrylic paint on a variety of surfaces: paper, yupo, cradleboard, canvas.

Medium: Watercolor
