I am an emerging watercolor artist influenced and taught by artist Melissa Gannon. I have long had an interest in art of different styles and enjoyed teaching it to the children in my classes as an elementary classroom teacher in Portland. Since retiring, I have taken time to pursue learning watercolor painting through exploration and classes. I am inspired by nature everywhere and marvel at the colors especially in the Pacific Northwest. I use transparent Watercolors on 140# cold pressed 100% cotton watercolor paper. My goal is to become more spontaneous and free in my expression and style.
