Charbonneau Festival of the Arts

Open Call to Artists & Musicians

Deadline: Friday, August 21, 5 pm

The 37th Annual Charbonneau Festival of the Arts is going virtual for 2020. Given the uncertainty of COVID-19 restrictions and in order to assure everyone’s safety, the all Virtual Exhibition will be live for the entire month of October. While they are disappointed they are unable to present a live gallery experience, this year’s online event will broaden the audience for all.

Artists will be able to present their work on their very own portfolio page with photos of their artwork and where interested viewers can contact the artist directly. All 2D and 3D art media artists are encouraged to apply. In addition, 2D hanging artists will be offered the option to add a virtual 3D hanging gallery, if they wish.  Artists will not be juried but reviewed for acceptable content.

Jazz and Classical music artists who perform as soloists or in small combos or ensembles, are invited to audition.  Musicians also will be able to present their music on their own portfolio page with sound clips and video and where interested viewers can contact the musician directly.

Preparing the virtual environment for artists and musicians will take the summer to prepare, so they invite you to register as soon as you can.

View the call on their website for more information and to register online.

Because we will be posting photographs of your work, all submissions must be electronic. Be sure to review the instructions before registering.
