Third Tuesday Author Series

7 – 8 pm

Lake Oswego Library

May 21 – Adam Sawyer

Now recognized as home to one of the nation’s most vibrant cuisine scenes, the story of how Portland became a culinary Mecca is a fascinating one. The emergence of the Farm to Table movement coupled with the bounty of the Willamette Valley, relative affordability, and the city’s creative culture, all helped make Portland the perfect place at the perfect time. Based on his latest book, Unique Eats & Eateries of Portland, Oregon, Author Adam Sawyer’s one-hour presentation details the history and current culinary landscape through the stories of the people, places, and events that helped make it, and are currently making it happen.
