SUMMARY:Wonderland Performances
DESCRIPTION:A live theatre one-act reimagining of Alice in Wonderland — for children\, by children. For years\, schools have asked us to provide daytime performances perfect for field trips—and now we finally can! Thanks to our partnership with Clackamas Community College\, we have the space to make this long-requested opportunity a reality. This exciting production features one of two casts made up of 7–8 talented young performers\, ages 10–18. Each actor takes on 2–5 different roles\, bringing energy\, creativity\, and fresh twists to this beloved classic. “Wonderland” is designed for all ages\, making it a wonderful introduction to live theatre. Students will be inspired as they see kids—just like them—taking the stage and bringing a timeless story to life in a whole new way

DESCRIPTION:World Cinema Series: Little Forest (Korean)\nTuesday\, January 27\, 5:30 – 8:00 pm\nLake Theater & Cafe\, 106 N. State St.\nJoin us for a screening of Little Forest. Dr. Jungmin Kwon\, a professor of digital culture and film studies in the School of Film at Portland State University\, will introduce the film. Little Forest is a heartwarming\, award-nominated South Korean drama that follows a young woman who returns to her rural hometown and rediscovers joy\, friendship\, and purpose through cooking and the rhythms of the seasons. The film will be shown in Korean with English subtitles. Stay after the screening for a thought-provoking discussion and share your reflections on the film.\nThis screening is part of the Lake Oswego Public Library’s World Cinema Series\, scheduled the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm to showcase diverse international films. Presented in cooperation with the Lake Theater & Cafe\, admission is free and no ticket is required (though food and drink purchases are encouraged to offset the cost to the Lake Theater).\nIf you are unable to attend\, Little Forest is available on Kanopy\, a free streaming service available through the Lake Oswego Public Library.\nLake Theater and Cafe is located at 106 N.
