SUMMARY:Stairwell Gallery: The Silk Paintings of Lê Trung Chính
DESCRIPTION:Stairwell Gallery: The Silk Paintings of Lê Trung Chính\nMonth of February\, all open hours\nThe Silk Paintings of Lê Trung Chính features works by the Vietnamese-born artist known for his luminous paintings on white silk. Using the traditional Serti method\, he outlines forms with a water-resistant medium before applying fabric dyes that are permanently set through steaming\, resulting in vivid color and fluid\, expressive lines unique to silk painting. His work focuses on people and shared human experiences\, drawing deeply from Vietnamese heritage and portraying scenes of daily life\, relationships\, and social themes.\nThe exhibition will be on view throughout February during regular library hours. Lake Oswego Public Library is located at 706 Fourth Street\, Lake Oswego. For more information\, contact April Younglove at 503-534-5667 or ayounglove@lakeoswego.city.
