DESCRIPTION:Stairwell Gallery: The Artwork of Cindy Reed \nMonth of March\, all open hours \nCome explore the works of Oregon artist\, Cindy Reed. A variety of mediums and styles will be on display\, including pastels\, powder pigments\, monoprints\, cyanotypes\, and collage. We will sing\, move\, play instruments\, and tell stories. We welcome all levels of Mandarin fluency from absolute beginners to native Mandarin speakers. Recommended for ages 2-5 years. \nSpace is limited and available on a first-come basis. DESCRIPTION:Many immigrants feel unwelcome in this country. During this FREE event\, we will knit patchwork blankets as gifts to show immigrant families that we stand with them. \nWe will be working on 6×6 knitted squares (made with worsted yarn and size 8 needles) and sew them together to make blankets. If you have any finished squares\, bring them! \nPatterns will be provided and a knitting instructor will assist new knitters.
