SUMMARY:A Chorus Line
DESCRIPTION:One of the most requested shows by Clackamas Rep patrons\, A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical that captures the spirit and tension of a Broadway audition. This Pulitzer Prize and multiple Tony Award-winning production explores the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional performers\, featuring one powerhouse number after another. A brilliantly complex fusion of song\, dance and compelling authentic drama\, A Chorus Line is a must-see musical classic. \nContent Advisory: Strong Language and Adult Themes \n“One of Broadway’s all-time greats\, with more kick than most other shows combined.” – Time Out New York \n“The starling simplicity of this show still impresses … The show suggests that theatre is both a metaphor for life and a way of escaping it\, and there is something genuinely moving about the way it gives an individual voice to performers who are normally just part of an anonymous ensemble.” – The Telegraph \n“…one of those musicals you will sing about to your grandchildren. It is an occasion of joy\, and affirmation of Broadway and a smoke-signal to the world that the musical can touch unexpected depths in the human heart.” – The New York Times \nJuly 30 – Aug. 23\, 2026\nPreview July 30\nOpening Night Aug. 1 \nThurs-Sat evenings at 7:30 p.m.\nSun and third Sat* matinees at 2:30 p.m. \nConceived/Originally Directed/Choreographed by: Michael Bennett\nBook by: James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante\nMusic by: Marvin Hamlisch\nCo-Choreographed by: Bob Avian\nDirected by: Karlyn Love \nSponsored by: Jim Osterman\, Karen and Brian Comstock\, Daphne and Tim Wuest

SUMMARY:Bridge City Improv: New In Town & Ooh La La
DESCRIPTION:We’re New in Town\, and we’ve been doing improv comedy since before you* were born! For us\, ‘new in town’ isn’t just a label you get when you move to a new city — it’s a state of being. To be new in town is to be released from the burden of knowing which cross-street the Safeway is on; unshackled from the oppression of cataloguing the best Thai takeout spots; and felicitously free from every dating faux pas you ever made. Don’t make the city you live in your whole personality: rather\, choose to be fun\, mysterious\, and exciting! Remember\, anytime you leave town and come back\, you too can choose to be new in town. From the bottom of our hearts\, New in Town can’t wait to be Old Friends with you! \n*depending on when you were born \nOoh La La is an all-women improv group known for their podcast-style opening. Fresh from their show at the London Improv Festival\, Ooh La La brings a fun improv performance full of eccentric characters and zany situations. \nImprovisation is collaborative\, unscripted theater where actors invent stories\, characters\, and dialogue in real-time. Instead of relying on a written script\, the performers build scenes spontaneously based on suggestions provided by the audience.
