SUMMARY:Stairwell Gallery: Kim Ellingson: Interpretations of Oregon Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:Come explore the work of Oregon artist Kim Ellingson whose painting journey has changed how she sees the world around her. A self-taught mixed media painter\, Ellingson works in watercolor\, ink\, and graphite to create structured interpretations of Oregon landscapes and seascapes. Ellingson’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions throughout the region\, and she is an active member of two Portland area arts guilds. DESCRIPTION:Experience the Magic of the Forge: CCAC Annual Blacksmith Week Aug 12-16 \nGOVT CAMP\, OR — Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts (CCAC) proudly presents Blacksmith Week\, August 12-16. Blacksmith Week is designed to showcase centuries-old to modern forging techniques while providing an interactive experience for all ages. Highlights include live demonstrations and ironworks camaraderie. Live demonstrations feature the exceptional craft and knowledge of master blacksmiths from across the nation. Demonstrators this year are Patrick Maher\, Aaron & Jesse Bushey\, Evan Scott\, Ben Cryzhold\, Darryl Nelson and Joe Elliot.Ticket prices are set for Individual\, Student and Family pricing at 1-day or 3-day options.
