SUMMARY:Stairwell Gallery: Kim Ellingson: Interpretations of Oregon Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:Come explore the work of Oregon artist Kim Ellingson whose painting journey has changed how she sees the world around her. A self-taught mixed media painter\, Ellingson works in watercolor\, ink\, and graphite to create structured interpretations of Oregon landscapes and seascapes. Ellingson’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions throughout the region\, and she is an active member of two Portland area arts guilds. This exhibition will be on view throughout August during regular library hours. Lake Oswego Public Library is located at 706 Fourth Street\, Lake Oswego. This group meets on the third Thursday of the month in the conference room on the second floor of the library. First up\, Reggae legend\, “Aaron Nigel Smith” on Thursday\, June 25 at 6pm\, followed by Pacific Northwest classic funk band\, “Soul Proof” on Thursday\, July 4 at our 4th of July Concert & Laser Light Show. Then\, Latin Funk band\, “Sabroso” on Thursday\, August 13 is playing at 6pm. And last but not least\, on August 20\, at 5:30pm\, Brandon Jones Band is performing at Wilsonville’s Party in the Park! \nConcerts are free! Bring you own lawn chair!
