Bridging centuries and styles\, this vibrant program brings together the elegance of a string quartet and the energy of a rock band infused into holiday favorites both old and new. \nFrom the lilting melodies of the Renaissance\, to the swing of classic jazz\, Polar Opposites spans musical worlds with creativity and heart. Highlights include a whimsical Ladino Hanukkah piece\, a heartfelt journey on The Polar Express\, and contemporary works by acclaimed choral composers Ola Gjeilo and Dan Forrest. \nAt its core\, Polar Opposites is an experiment in contrast—a reminder that joy can be found in the coming together of seeming opposites.
