During this FREE event\, we will knit patchwork blankets as gifts to show immigrant families that we stand with them. \nWe will be working on 6×6 knitted squares (made with worsted yarn and size 8 needles) and sew them together to make blankets. If you have any finished squares\, bring them! \nPatterns will be provided and a knitting instructor will assist new knitters. Please bring size 8 knitting needles and worsted yarn\, or purchase yarn when you arrive. \nFind the 6×6 square patterns here: https://undergroundcrafter.com/2018/01/04/harmony-blanket-knit-a-long/ \nThe best way to fight hate is with love.
