DESCRIPTION:Stairwell Gallery: The Artwork of Cindy Reed \nMonth of March\, all open hours \nCome explore the works of Oregon artist\, Cindy Reed. A variety of mediums and styles will be on display\, including pastels\, powder pigments\, monoprints\, cyanotypes\, and collage. Many of the pieces combine vintage paper – from letters\, maps\, ledgers\, books and music – with paints and inks\, marrying text and image into what Reed calls “organized chaos”. \nTo see additional works\, visit the Cindy Reed Gallery on Dailypaintworks.com. \nThe exhibition will be on view throughout March during regular library hours. Lake Oswego resident John Nilsen will present a free live concert on the first Tuesday of the month at Lake Oswego Public Library. Known for his versatile style\, Nilsen masterfully blends classical\, jazz\, and rock genres\, captivating listeners with every note. In addition to being a brilliant pianist\, he is also a gifted singer-songwriter. \nThis program is supported by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library. Admission is free and no tickets are required. Please note\, seating is limited due to the size of the space. Seats will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis.
