DESCRIPTION:This event repeats every month on the third Thursday. \n\n\n\n\nJoin fellow poetry lovers for a monthly meet-up to read and discuss poetry in a supportive environment. Feel free to read a poem of your own or one written by a published author that you’d like to share. This group meets on the third Thursday of the month in the conference room on the second floor of the library. Meetings will include time for introductions\, poetry readings\, organic discussion\, and resource sharing. Light refreshments will be available. SUMMARY:Ledding Library 5-day Teen Playwriting Camp
DESCRIPTION:A 5-day camp for students grades 6-12 to develop an original play. This camp will be led by a produced playwright. Campers will work with their fellow campers to develop and perform a short play with guidance from a peer. Attendees will use collective creation to devise a work in only 5 days! The final day of the camp will culminate in a reader’s theatre performance of the piece that will be open to the public. The camp will take place at the Ledding Library from 1pm to 3pm on August 3rd-7th.
