SUMMARY:Ledding Library 5-day Teen Playwriting Camp
DESCRIPTION:A 5-day camp for students grades 6-12 to develop an original play. This camp will be led by a produced playwright. Campers will work with their fellow campers to develop and perform a short play with guidance from a peer. Attendees will use collective creation to devise a work in only 5 days! The final day of the camp will culminate in a reader’s theatre performance of the piece that will be open to the public. DESCRIPTION:The Natural History Book Group was founded on the recognition that Indigenous peoples have maintained a deep and reciprocal relationship with the land now known as Lake Oswego for millennia\, the group acknowledges this history as an essential grounding for its work. Through participant-selected readings that focus on Traditional Ecological Knowledge\, members explore how literature and nonfiction can deepen our understanding of the watershed and its indigenous history\, while inspiring practical steps toward a more just relationship with both the land we call home and its original caretakers. \nLed by the Oswego Lake Watershed Council\, this group meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of every other month (January\, March\, May\, July\, September\, and November) at 5:00pm. SUMMARY:Ledding Library 5-day Teen Playwriting Camp
DESCRIPTION:A 5-day camp for students grades 6-12 to develop an original play. This camp will be led by a produced playwright. Campers will work with their fellow campers to develop and perform a short play with guidance from a peer. Attendees will use collective creation to devise a work in only 5 days! The final day of the camp will culminate in a reader’s theatre performance of the piece that will be open to the public. The camp will take place at the Ledding Library from 1pm to 3pm on August 3rd-7th.

DESCRIPTION:This event repeats every month on the third Saturday. \n\n\n\n\nJuliette from Adventures in Spanish will present stories and songs in Spanish for children and their caregivers. The half hour program is recommended for ages 0-5 years\nJuliette de Adventures in Spanish presentará cuentos y canciones en español para niños y sus cuidadores. El programa\, de media hora de duración\, está recomendado para edades de 0 a 5 años.  Este evento se repite cada mes el tercer sábado.\nThis program is sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library and admission is free\, with no registration required.
