DESCRIPTION:World Cinema Series: Tesoros (Spanish) \nTuesday\, March 31\, 5:30 – 8:00 pm \nLake Theater & Cafe\, 106 North State Street \nJoin us for a screening of the film Tesoros. This uplifting family-friendly movie was filmed in a beautiful Natural Preserve off the Pacific coast of Mexico. The charming story follows a 6-year-old girl named Andrea who goes on an adventure searching for pirate treasure with her brother Dylan. Presented in Spanish with English subtitles. \nLiIiana Heller-Mafrica\, Ed.D.\, Adjunct Professor at PSU’s Grad School of Education\, and a Lake Oswego resident\, will introduce the film. Viewers are invited to stay after the screening to engage in a moderated group discussion about the themes and message of the film. \nThis screening is part of the Lake Oswego Public Library’s World Cinema Series\, scheduled the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm to showcase diverse international films. Presented in cooperation with the Lake Theater & Cafe\, admission is free and no ticket is required (though food and drink purchases are encouraged to offset the cost to the Lake Theater). \nIf you are unable to attend\, Tesoros is available on Kanopy\, a free streaming service available through the Lake Oswego Public Library. \nLake Theater and Cafe is located at 106 N.
