SUMMARY:Stairwell Gallery: The Artwork of Marie Lo
DESCRIPTION:Come view the paintings of artist and professor of Asian North American literature\, Marie Lo. Her oil paintings invite viewers to think about how we represent the world around us\, how we see ourselves\, and how we preserve the stories that shape our identities. SUMMARY:REX PUTNAM INDOOR PERCUSSION Friends and Family Event
DESCRIPTION:Winter Indoor Percussion is a worldwide competitive activity. WGI (Winter Guard Int’l) is the overseeing entity of this marching percussion and pageantry “Sport of the Arts” artform. Drumming\, dance\, choreography\, and a high level of percussion musicianship is all present with props\, costumes\, sound designs. REX PUTNAM INDOOR PERCUSSION was established in 2009 and has been competing for 10 years. Winning 1st place in PSA (scholastic A percussion) for the last 6 years\, this group has just moved up to Open Class. \nCompetition/performance schedule is at our website. This is the ONLY competitive percussion group (including marching band) active in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties. Watch our documentary at www.rexputnamindoorpercussion.com. This is an incredible opportunity to hone your skills performing with state-of-the-art gear and sound engineers on our Meteor Lounge stage. Open Mic Nights are held on the first Friday of each month and hosted by our amazing Teen Interns. \nSign-up at the doors at 6:15 p.m | Performances begin 6:30 p.m.\nDon’t have a song to share? No worries! Gather some friends and come be a part of our supportive audience! All ages welcome to attend. \nNote: Parent/guardian permission and a signed media waver are required for performers under the age of 18.
