DESCRIPTION:Crockpot has been performing together for almost a decade in one form or another. Rebecca Feldman\, Jason Hays\, Jessica Zodrow\, and Luke Zwanziger are like family now and love how improv brings the community together. That’s why they produce Potluck\, a monthly improv jam and showcase at Kennedy School. Follow them on Insta @potluckimprovpdx. \nExterior – Night. Butch Femme Fatale enters. Crime ensues. An unlikely detective is forced to come to terms with the question: Is 1940’s Noir actually comedy? Cory Merrill\, Anne Jones\, Kerry McPherson\, and Stephen Burgess take turns playing a stereotypical hard boiled detective figuring out a devious noir plot made up on the spot. \nImprovisation is collaborative\, unscripted theater where actors invent stories\, characters\, and dialogue in real-time. Instead of relying on a written script\, the performers build scenes spontaneously based on suggestions provided by the audience.
