Join us for a powerful concert under the baton of our Music Director Mark Perlman.\nThis year’s festival brings musicians together to celebrate the expansive and emotional Symphony No. 1 of Gustav Mahler\, along with works by Wagner and contemporary composer Quinn Mason.\nProgram:\n• Wagner – Overture to The Flying Dutchman\n• Mahler – “Blumine” movement from the early version of Symphony No. 1\n(conducted by Assistant Conductor Quinn Mason)\n• Quinn Mason – She Dreams of Flying (2023) – West Coast Premiere\n• Mahler – Symphony No. 1 “Titan”\nMahler’s music is an unforgettable experience — moving from moments of quiet beauty to sarcasm and parody to some of the most thrilling and powerful sounds an orchestra can create.
