SUMMARY:Alchemy: The Myth of Puerh
DESCRIPTION:A Puerh Tea Tasting\nCome immerse yourself in the living tradition of pu-erh\, a tea shaped by time itself. With mindfulness as our guide\, we will walk alongside pu-erh through its alchemy of transformation\, tasting the wisdom it carries through the earth\, its history\, and the art of brewing. \nThis gathering is offered with a suggested contribution of $35. In the spirit of inclusivity and balance\, you are welcome to offer what feels right for you\, whether that is $35\, $25\, or more if you have the means. Contributions above the suggested amount help make this experience accessible to those with financial need and sustain the ongoing care and energy poured into holding spaces like this. Every offering\, whether financial or energetic\, affirms the value of community supported education. \nWe also acknowledge the systemic barriers that have long limited access for BIPOC communities. To honor this\, a $15 option is available for BIPOC participants who would benefit from it. This is one way we commit to equity\, ensuring that diversity is not only welcomed but integral to the richness of the experience. \nIf the listed prices are still a barrier\, please reach out directly. I am more than willing to work with you to ensure that tea remains within reach for all who feel called to share in it. \nAll are welcome here. You are invited to arrive exactly as you are and take part in a space rooted in openness\, care\, and community\, a living space where each presence is honored and where we grow together through the deep\, transformative beauty of tea. \nTo help us hold a mindful and welcoming space\, we ask participants to be considerate of sensory sensitivities by avoiding strong fragrances. This is a space of gentle awareness\, where we honor our own needs as well as those of others. By showing up with openness\, care\, and respect for each other’s boundaries\, we create a collective atmosphere where meditation\, tea\, and queer belonging can flourish together. \nIn the spirit of reciprocity and uplifting community together\, five dollars from each participant will be donated to Q Center\, a nonprofit that supports LGBTQ2SIA+ communities through advocacy\, resources\, and safe spaces\, embodying tea’s spirit of connection\, reflection\, healing\, and belonging. \nThis gathering is guided by D’Guar (they/them)\, a trans person of color\, tea guide\, and community weaver rooted in Portland\, Oregon. Their journey has been dedicated to exploring the depth and spirit of Camellia sinensis through mindful practice\, story\, and shared ritual. Through Water Fairy Tea\, they cultivate spaces where tea becomes a bridge into presence\, nature\, and belonging. Their offerings blend learning with reverence\, inviting participants to meet tea not just as a drink\, but as a living companion in personal discovery\, collective care\, and connection with the natural world. \nWe acknowledge that this work takes place on the traditional lands of the Multnomah\, Clackamas\, Chinook\, Kathlamet\, Tualatin\, Kalapuya\, Molalla\, and many other Indigenous ancestors and communities. We honor their enduring presence\, care\, and wisdom\, and offer gratitude to the land and to the people who have tended it since time immemorial.

SUMMARY:Lady Bridgette Bunny "Whom" Loves Bridgerton Fashion\, A Workshop with Lesa Dailey at K.MARIE
DESCRIPTION:Lesa has created the magic that only she can with Lady Bridgette Bunny who will be the “diamond” of this season which is March 21st & 22nd. She will require elegant outfits one for each of the three events she attends. \nPlease read through all of the details\, like I said it is going to be a magical event. \nOn Saturday March 21st this workshop is creating the regal Lady Bridgette Bunny and her resting pedestal all in preparation for the stunning flowers\, ruffles\, and sparkling details you will create the next day. \nOn Sunday March 22nd\, at this workshop you will create the most elegant attire for the season: The Garden Party\, The Swan’s Ball\, & A Fine Society. These three stunning outfits\, each unique to their event\, will be filling our day with creativity and magic. We will start at 10:00 am both days\, and expect to finish each day about 4:00 pm “ish” \nIf that doesn’t have your heart dancing\, well let me just add more to your dance card! How much fun will it be to dress the part of Bridgerton on Saturday all of the ruffles and lace\, diamonds and sparkle for not only your day of creating but to attend an “in planning” reception to follow. I will be sharing the details of this event once they are finalized. Sunday the attire will be reflected in the theme of “If the Bridgerton Ladies Wore Jeans” what would they wear. I cannot wait to see what you all will wear. \nLunch will be catered both days. I will also be sending those that register a walking/shopping/dining map of our quaint downtown to include a list of activities that may be happening. There are several wonderful coffee shops and restaurants available to you to start your day and wind down in the evening. I am delighted to share our very special city with you. \nEveryone will receive a day pass for the parking lot just a few steps South of the store. If you choose not to park in the lot\, you will have to move your vehicle multiple times throughout the day. It is truly best to park in the lot. \nThe store will be filled with a collection of items for purchase that I have curated and reserved specifically for your Lesa Dailey\, Bridgerton weekend. \nThis is a link to register for the workshop. You will pay your deposit now and the second payment by February 15th and the balance on March 15th. (Total weekend is $375.00) This a non refundable workshop. If your plans change\, please reach out and we will do our best to help someone purchase your registration\, otherwise you will be able to pickup your kits the week following the event. \nIf you have any questions please email me kmarielovesglitter@gmail.com
