SUMMARY:Kogin Embroidery: Stitching Tradition into Coasters
DESCRIPTION:This introductory course presents Kogin embroidery\, a traditional Japanese counted-thread embroidery from the Tsugaru region of Aomori\, Japan. Participants will learn the cultural background\, basic tools\, and fundamental stitching techniques of Kogin\, and will complete a small sampler or begin a simple motif during the session. No prior embroidery experience is required.
