SUMMARY:Wonderland Performances
DESCRIPTION:A live theatre one-act reimagining of Alice in Wonderland — for children\, by children. For years\, schools have asked us to provide daytime performances perfect for field trips—and now we finally can! Thanks to our partnership with Clackamas Community College\, we have the space to make this long-requested opportunity a reality. This exciting production features one of two casts made up of 7–8 talented young performers\, ages 10–18. Each actor takes on 2–5 different roles\, bringing energy\, creativity\, and fresh twists to this beloved classic. “Wonderland” is designed for all ages\, making it a wonderful introduction to live theatre. Students will be inspired as they see kids—just like them—taking the stage and bringing a timeless story to life in a whole new way

SUMMARY:Peppermint Bear Asks Witch Way To Christmas?
DESCRIPTION:At this year’s North Pole pageant\, Dottie is crowned “Best Elf” and in her speech remembers how it all began. Through flash-back\, we see how Dottie the witch arrived at the North Pole to take back Christmas – something she had loaned to Santa for a couple thousand years. Now she wants it back\, expecting that with it\, she might finally get a life full of love and acceptance – just as Santa does. But\, the threat of losing Christmas makes the elves reject this scary witch – that is\, until Peppermint Bear uncovers what Dottie truly wants most and the elves teach her how easy it is to get it – without taking Christmas away.
The story flashes-forward and everyone celebrates Dottie’s win\, happy to have her part of the Christmas family at the North Pole. \nThe Peppermint Bear show is a classic at Lakewood Theatre Company and it’s perfect for families and full of holiday cheer. Each year a new 45-minute episode is presented. A light continental breakfast with rolls\, muffins\, donuts\, fruit etc and juice\, and coffee is provided. It’s a show that is perfect for ages 3-103. Doors open 20 minutes before each show.
