AEP 2020 Artists Granted Automatic Spot for 2021
As social distancing continues and guidelines for closures extend, all of our lives look very different this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is also true for the 55 artists and two artist groups as well as the 17 gallery spaces that are part of our 2020 Artist Exhibit Program (AEP).
Throughout this past spring and now into summer, the 2020 AEP Artists were patient and flexible, remaining positive throughout numerous scheduling changes, building closures, postponements, and other special requirements that the pandemic forced upon us all.
Due to these ongoing and extenuating circumstances and out of the utmost respect and consideration for participating artists, the Arts Alliance has decided to waive the 2021 Artist Exhibit Program Call to Artists. Instead, we are automatically granting each 2020 Artist a spot in the 2021 Artist Exhibit Program.
This essential “re-do” will allow each of our 2020 Artists additional chances to exhibit their work in (what we hope are) galleries that are open to the public.
Support Our AEP Artists
While galleries are closed or you don’t feel comfortable visiting them in person, we hope you will virtually visit and support the work of our AEP Artists. View their work on social media, leave your comments, and like and follow their individual artist pages and accounts!
While we can’t necessarily gather in-person right now, we can each play our own vital role in keeping arts and culture central to life in Clackamas County by staying connected with the artists that make our communities such vibrant and wonderful places to live and work.
