On Friday, December 14, friends and colleagues, both current and past, gathered to celebrate the illustrious career and vital impact Executive Director, Cheryl Snow has made on arts, culture and heritage throughout Clackamas County. From toasts to fond memories, stories and jokes, one thing was clear, county arts and culture was certainly better off for having Cheryl as an ally for the last 20 years. Cheryl will retire from the Arts Alliance on January 2, 2019, after leading the organization for more than two decades.

In honor of Cheryl Snow’s 20 years of dedicated service to the Clackamas County Arts Alliance, Board President Kevin Yell proudly announced the creation of The Cheryl Snow Fund for Youth Arts. Established with donations from colleagues, friends and family, the fund will assist young people in their artistic endeavors and honors Cheryl for leading, building and sustaining this vital organization in Clackamas County.

A fitting tribute to her passion for using arts as a catalyst for growth and change in the lives of young people, Yell stated, “We didn’t know how else to honor you but to say we want your work to continue.” The fund will create a lasting means to support the artistic endeavors of local youth.
