Giving Tuesday – December 1, 2020
This year, GivingTuesday is more impactful than ever. What started as a global day of giving and unity, has become a “global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The social sector is in crisis at the very moment the world needs it most, and GivingTuesday stands ready to rally the world at this critical time.
Here at the Arts Alliance, we would be honored if one of the ways you choose to participate in GivingTuesday is by partnering with us in the work we do throughout Clackamas County. Our donors are an important part of this work and now, more than ever, we recognize the need for coming together behind shared goals and community-centric values.
For over 25 years, you have helped us:
- Use the arts as a catalyst to open doors for underserved youth through our Youth Arts for Change program.
- Drive local economic stimulus through public art management and cultural tourism.
- Exhibit local emerging and established artists in public galleries in our Artist Exhibit Program.
- Connect people and programs through grant-giving for cultural projects, skill building and training, and opportunities.
