Cultural Coalition Grant Recipient Feature: Philip Foster Farm Historic Site

The Cider Squeeze is an annual event where families are welcome to squeeze their own cider, along with enjoying live music, folk dancing, kids games, tours of the historical houses, and much more. Their Project Grant supported two local music groups and a square dance group who performed throughout the day.

Arts Alliance selected for a Super Heart Hero Award!

Clackamas County Health, Housing and Human Services and the Behavioral Health Division awarded the Arts Alliance the Super Heart Hero Award for the Ask the Question Project, our collaborative suicide awareness project.

Call for submissions for Poets and Artists Calendar

Call for submissions for a calendar to feature Clackamas County poets and artists! Twelve writers and 12 artists will be selected for the first annual calendar produced by the Clackamas County Arts Alliance.

The Inter/View Project after school photography class at Baker Prairie Middle School in Canby is focused on making black and white portraits and images that are representative of each youth that go beyond the popular selfie.

Cultural Coalition Grant Recipient Feature: Youth Music Project

This month, we are happy to feature Clackamas County Cultural Coalition Project Grant recipient Youth Music Project. The award was used to support the cost of their Tuition Assistance Program which ensures that no child willing to participate in music education will be turned away for financial reasons.

Introducing our Newest AEP Gallery

We are proud to announce our newest gallery at Lake Oswego Adult Community Center! Lake Oswego ACC joins 17 other exhibit spaces in 11 public gallery venues in Clackamas County displaying original artwork by local artists. Other venues include county buildings, libraries, hospitals and health centers.

Youth Arts for Change – Baker Prairie Silkscreen Program

Youth Arts for Change students, teachers, and families gathered at Baker Prairie Middle School on December 5 to mark the completion of an 8-week after school program in which youth explored ideas about identity through the medium of silkscreening.
