We are proud to share the work of the recipients of Clackamas County Cultural Coalition Project Grants. Philip Foster Farm Historic Site received a 2018 grant to support their Cider Squeeze musicians.
The Cider Squeeze is an annual event where families are welcome to squeeze their own cider, along with enjoying live music, folk dancing, kids games, tours of the historical houses, and much more. Their Project Grant specifically supported two local music groups and a square dance group who performed throughout the day. This allowed them to have diverse music styles and almost continuous music going for the entire event. Programming Director Jennifer Goldman shared, “we greatly appreciate the grant. We feel it made a positive difference to the feel of the event.”
The mission of the Clackamas County Cultural Coalition is to grow the cultural assets in the County through distributing funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust to local arts, history, heritage, humanities organizations and cultural creatives like Philip Foster Farm Historic Site.
