Thank you to the Fred W. Fields Fund of Oregon Community Foundation for your support!
Through the Oregon Arts and Culture Recovery Program we were granted much appreciated general operating support funds. This program was established to provide flexible resources from a cohort of participating funders to support the arts and culture community who have been adversely impacted by the outbreak of COVID-19.
With the help of this generous grant, our Youth Arts for Change program was able to make a crucial pivot to online programming in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are so very grateful for their support!
As a result of the pandemic we’ve all been spending much more time at home and away from our communities, and this has certainly impacted the vulnerable and underserved youth in Clackamas County. As a result of ongoing and new support, we hope to continue expanding our virtual programming with youth throughout the county. Art exposure and creative expression can serve as an escape, a relief, and a meditative way for students to express themselves and find a way to make sense of their emotions and environment.
This grant was made possible through partnership with a cohort of community funders supporting the Arts and Culture Recover Program. Partners supporting this effort include: The Collins Foundation, James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, Oregon Community Foundation, Regional Arts & Culture Council, The Reser Family Foundation, and Schnitzer CARE Foundation/Jordan Schnitzer.
