Family Art-Making

Fourth Thursday of the Month, 2 – 4 pm

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego (ACLO)’s Family Art-Making is returning for 2019! This popular program is offered free to the public with a suggested donation to cover supplies.

Children, ages 5 – 12, are invited to participate in new art experiences on the fourth Thursday of the month from 2 -4 pm. The schedule coincides with Lake Oswego School District’s early release days, allowing parents and caregivers an after-school activity.

January 24 – Observational Drawings: Values, Shapes, and Perspective

February 28 – Mud Cloth Hangings: Expressing Our Cultural Heritage Through Art

March 28 – Color Theory: Discovering the Effect of Different Color Combinations While Also Gaining Knowledge of Kandinsky’s Work

April 25 – Perspective: Getting a Bird’s Eye and a Bug’s Eye View of a Subject

May 23 – Putting It All Together in 3D: Combining the Different Areas of Study in a 3D Wreath
