Community Enhancement Grant Program

Grant applications are open! Applications are due by May , 17 at 12:00 pm.

The Community Enhancement Grant Program (CEGP) provides an excellent opportunity for the City of Oregon City to support critical neighborhood projects and helps fulfill the community’s vision. Last year this program, formerly known as the Oregon City Metro Enhancement grant, awarded a combined $350,000 to groups with projects that were of benefit to the citizens in Oregon City. This program derives its funding from an intergovernmental agreement between Oregon City and Metro and is generated by a $1.00 per ton surcharge collected at the Metro South Transfer Station on Washington Street.

The total amount available for grants in 2019 is $350,000, with maximum grant awards of $50,000.

The application and information for the grant is located below. Please read the grant information to make sure your project qualifies for the program. The application can be filled out electronically by saving the file to your computer. Once you’ve completed the application, submit it, along with a cover letter to [email protected] or mail or deliver to City Hall, 625 Center Street, Oregon City, 97045.

The committee will meet June 13, 2019 at 5:30 pm at City Hall to review 2019 applications.
