Hello from the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation!

On October 1, we will begin accepting Fast Track Arts Grant requests as well as Letters of Inquiry for both arts and education requests. These opportunities build on the pilot programs we introduced a year ago, and will continue to offer fast and flexible support for Oregon’s arts and education sectors.

Grant Programs
Our Fast Track Arts Grants offer a single year of general operating support for arts and K-12 arts education organizations with annual expenses under $500,000, with a maximum award of $25,000. Beginning October 1, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed monthly.

Our Letter of Inquiry process offers project or general operating support for arts and K-12 arts education organizations with annual expenses over $500,000. K-12 education organizations with budgets of any size should also apply through the Letter of Inquiry process.

Letters of Inquiry will be due:

  • October 22, 2021
  • February 18, 2022
  • June 17, 2022
  • October 21, 2022

If you have questions after viewing our Frequently Asked Questions, please reach out to a member of our program team. It may also be helpful to review the list of activities we are currently unlikely to fund.

We are inspired daily by the amazing work arts and education organizations are sustaining in the face of so many challenges–thank you. We hope you’ll stay in touch.
