The Lake Oswego Public Library is proud to host a special exhibit by celebrated local artist Roger Long in our Stairwell Gallery this June. Now retired to Arizona, Long returns to Lake Oswego to celebrate his 90th birthday and share a selection of works from his private studio, curated with help from his daughter Beth Campbell. Long, former owner of the beloved Long Alley Gallery, is known for his nature-inspired paintings and sculptures rich with symbolic and philosophical meaning. His legacy lives on in public art like the Living Script Garden near Our Lady of the Lake Church. Don’t miss this rare chance to experience Long’s powerful work up close!
