ARTIST EXHIBIT PROGRAM
Clackamas County Arts Alliance showcases the work of local visual artists through our Artist Exhibit Program (AEP). We match artists to libraries, hospitals, city halls, county buildings, and other public spaces so their art can be viewed by the public.
The Arts Alliance coordinates installation, and artwork rotates regularly in venues throughout Clackamas County. Community members are able to enjoy changing exhibits, experience various art mediums, and learn about local artists. AEP opens doors to additional exhibit and sales opportunities for artists, while also providing skill building and gallery readiness training. The call for artists to participate in AEP (which is offered commission-free) is extended annually, with an updated roster of artists announced once selections have been completed.

Clackamas Arts Alliance showcases the work of local visual artists through our Artist Exhibit Program (AEP). We match artists with libraries, hospitals, county buildings, and other public spaces so their art can be viewed by the public. Currently we rotate 19 galleries in 11 public venues in Clackamas County.
Our focus is on original visual 2D artwork and smaller 3D artwork, in most mediums.
Mediums include, but are not limited to:
2D– painting (oil, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, encaustic, printmaking, collage), photography, book arts, textiles, ceramics, metal smithing, mixed-media, etc.
3D— sculpture, ceramics, mosaic, glass, metal arts, clay, stone, wood, glass, metal, concrete, mixed media, etc.
Some digital artwork may be accepted. AI-created work will not be accepted.
Our annual AEP install schedule starts in January, and artwork installed in December will come down in March the following year. Most of our galleries rotate every 3 months, with a few of our galleries beginning a new rotation each month. Exhibits require 6-9 or 10-14 artworks depending on gallery space and are ready to install. After an initial email of an exhibit opportunity (that states the venue proposed, dates and times to deliver and pickup artwork, and number of artworks required), we will email an Exhibit Information Form to fill in and return. We will supply signage art statement and labels, based on filled in form. Artists will drop off their artwork inside gallery venue on install day, and pick up their artwork on de-install day. Sales inquiries are directed to artists and no commissions are taken by CAA. All artwork is to remain on display for full exhibit period, even if it sells.
