New Century Players is holding auditions for the role of “Jack” in Ken Ludwig’s Dear Jack, Dear Louise. The role of “Louise” has been cast.

U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, begins writing to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, hoping to meet her someday if the war will allow. Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig tells the joyous story of his parents’ courtship during World War II. The results are anything but expected.

Audition dates:
Wed, December 3, 6:30 to 8:30 PM
Thu, December 4, 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Rehearsals will begin January 26, 2026.

Performances:
February 27 at 7:30 PM
February 28 and March 1 at 2 PM

March 6 at 7:30 PM
March 7 and 8 at 2 PM

March 13 and 14 at 7:30 PM
March 15 at 2 PM

All acting roles are unpaid. Technical roles receive a small stipend.
Actors do not need to attend both dates.
Sides will be available on request and at auditions.
