Special Author Presentation featuring Melissa Slager

Author Melissa Slager discusses her historical novel Contests of Strength and reads excerpts. The presentation, accompanied by a slideshow, discusses Northwest Coast whaling culture and the Cascadia subduction zone earthquake and tsunami of January 1700. There will be time for Q&A, followed by book sales and signings.
Melissa Slager is a writer and journalist. She lives with her family in Everett, Washington.
